BALEAREAN BOC
WHERE
The Balearean Boc lives in the island of Mallorca, in the Balearic Island. This islands are considered the Mediterranean Caribbean.
SEASON
The Balearean Boc has the longest season of all the species: all year long. It literally goes from January 1st till December 31st.
FREE OR FENCE
We always hunt in free range. The bushes are made of pine trees and grasslands, with open areas where the Bocs go for feeding.
SLEEP IN
Mallorca is not a big island, so we will sleep in astonishing hotels close to the beach and the hunting area.
HOW HIGH
The island has a massive mountain area called La Tramuntana, where we will go for hunting. It can be steep, with an average altitude around 4,500 feet.
ABOUT THEM
The Balearean Boc or Balearean Feral Goat, -Myotragus balearicus-, is the only species of goat we can find in Europe besides the ibex.
