CANTABRIAN CHAMOIS
WHERE
The Cantabrian Chamois lives in the north east of our country, in the Cantabrian Mountains, more exactly in Picos de Europa.
SEASON
The Cantabrian Chamois season goes from from May to December. The rut time is in October- November.
FREE OR FENCE
We always hunt in free range, like the ibex, most of the times in National Reserves like Riaño.
SLEEP IN
We sleep in hotels or lodges, located in the middle of the Picos de Europa Mountains.
HOW HIGH
The average altitud in the Cantabrian Mountains is around 4,800 / 7,000 feet.
ABOUT THEM
The Cantabrian Chamois, is a species of goat-antelope native and unique in Spain. The smallest of the 10 different Chamois we can find on earth.
