FALLOW DEER
WHERE
Fallow Deers can be found in different areas, mainly in the center and south of the country -in provinces like Castilla La Mancha, Andalusia or Extremadura-.
SEASON
The season goes from September to February. The roaring time is in late September and October.
FREE OR FENCE
As the area is so massive, there is the possibility to hunt them in free range or in a fenced area.
SLEEP IN
We sleep in hotels or lodges, in small towns located close to the hunting area or in it.
HOW HIGH
Like Red Stags, most of the times we will hunt in areas made of hills and valleys, with an average altitude from 1,500 to 3,000 feet.
ABOUT THEM
The Fallow Deer, -Dama dama-, its the second deer in size of Europe. It is known as the fairy tale deer because of their white spots.
