PYRENEAN CHAMOIS
WHERE
The Pyrenean Chamois lives in the north east of our country, in the Pyrenees Mountains, our frontier with France.
SEASON
The Pyrenean Chamois season goes from from September to January, and March to May. The rut time is in November-December.
FREE OR FENCE
We always hunt in free range, like the ibex, most of the times in National Reserves or public lands.
SLEEP IN
We sleep in hotels or lodges, in small towns located in the middle of the these incredible Mountains.
HOW HIGH
The average altitud in the Pyrenees is around 4,900 / 11,000 feet. No doubt the highest area of Spain.
ABOUT THEM
The Pyrenean Chamois, or Rupicapra pyrenaica is a species of goat-antelope native in Spain. They love the summits and living high.
